Facing fierce competition from 92 of the top drivers in off-road racing, Jason Scherer and co-driver Jason Berger were able to put their name in the record books as winners of the 2009 King of the Hammers.

“Our practice leading up to this race really paid off. We have been working really hard putting our car and ourselves through the paces at places like Moonrocks, and Johnson Valley as well and cross training in various activities such as snow mobiling, motocross enduros as well as a vicious diet regiment. The prep that went into this race made a major difference in the outcome. I thank the whole team and my family for all of their support,” said Scherer.
